With respect to a Phoenixville super WAWA, from a source inside WAWA at corporate who knows ... "We have a projected date to start construction 8/04/2008,
projected to open 3/6/2009."
That said, things do change. The original start contruction date was to have been in March 2008. |

It seems it will be connected somehow to 113 and 23 making it a lot easier to access than the current site on 113. I can't wait since we usually buy our gas, milk and other small items from them and always end up going to Spring City on 724 or Royersford near 422. I am wondering though, will JDM stay there with their concrete batch plant? Or will they move to a better suited location so that the area around that new intersection can be cleaned up visually? |

They have started constuction across from Sears recently and have added an entrance/exit to that lot onto route 113 behind Rite Aid. Lets hope its the Wawa you guys are talking about! |

They haven't started breaking ground yet. The new wawa in Collegeville took about 6 months to complete.
End of the year is probably a better estimate, but in this economy who knows. |
