Have you been to Daddy Mimms Creole restaurant in Phoenixville? I went last night for the first time. I'll be honest, first look at the menu and I thought I was going to go home hungry. Not only was I stuffed when leaving but it was all AMAZING especially the homemade desserts!! I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to try something a little different!!! It was so good! It's BYOB and very enjoyable!

I know it's not technically Phoenixville, but does anyone have a timeline/ETA on the re-opening of the bridge on Rt. 252 over the turnpike? It's such a pain to weave around trying to get to the Gateway Shopping Center from P-ville now.

Wondering what the locals on here would think of a falafel place also offering great fresh-cut fries and a salad/topping bar opening on Bridge? Is the town 'ready' for such a place? Do you think there is enough foot traffic to sustain it? Thanks for your opinions!

Why has construction stopped on the new Fire House they were building? I pass it all the time on my way to Collegeville and even the construction trailer is gone and some of the pipes installed for the concrete pour have been knocked over (vandals?). Did something fall through? Just curious as there was a lot of talk about it when they first got started. Don't read the useless newspaper we have, so posting here instead.

Hi All,
Whats everyone's perception or even better facts :) About the safety of the Northside. When driving through I see a lot of people hanging out on High Street. Would a person be safe there walking around through on a friday night? I know they are scheduled to redo the street lighting in that area so that's positive.

But i am curious if anyone has any observations or comments about living on the Northside of Pville.
